In observance of International Transgender Day of Remembrance on Friday, November 20, 2020, please join Hinshaw’s LGBTQ Affinity Group, LAGBAC (Chicago’s LGBTQ+ Bar Association) and Cook County Judge-Elect, Jill Rose Quinn—Illinois’ first openly-transgender elected official—as we honor and remember the courageous members of the transgender community who have experienced violence and tragedy as a result of transphobia.
We invite you to share your personal reflections of grief, hope, solidarity, and any thoughts or feelings you wish to have aired during this special vigil event. Please email your personal reflections by Tuesday, November 17th to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We encourage you to bring a candle and invite any friends or loved ones who would like to join us as we honor those we have lost.
