Internal Investigations Manager/Staff Attorney

Essential Functions
·         Serves as Internal Investigations Manager/Staff Attorney.

·         Serves as full line supervisor.

·         Conducts legal research as needed for OIG child welfare-related investigations and child welfare Error Reduction Trainings.

·         Oversees Child Welfare Employee Licensure (CWEL) investigations.

·         Prepares cases for potential criminal prosecution.

·         Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications
1.       Requires graduation from an accredited law school and possession of a valid license to practice law in Illinois

2.       Requires three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the practice of law
