The 35th Anniversary Gala benefits the LAGBAC Foundation, LAGBAC’s 501(c)(3) charitable arm that provides education to both the public and legal professionals about legal issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community. Through its educational initiatives and scholarship programs, the LAGBAC Foundation seeks to improve access to the legal and judicial system for the LGBTQ+ community. In achieving this goal, the LAGBAC Foundation offers annual scholarships, awarded to local LGBTQ+ law students working in otherwise unpaid legal internships with organizations dedicated to promoting and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. The proceeds will go to fund these scholarships and LGBTQ+ legal education.
