Quarles & Brady LLP seeks an associate with at least three years of experience to specialize in health law with our growing, dynamic national health care practice in our Washington, D.C. or Indianapolis office. The attorney should have an understanding of the regulatory aspects of health care law and should preferably have experience in advising pharmacies, drug / device manufacturers and distributors, hospitals, physicians, health systems and other health care providers or payors on federal and state law regulatory issues affecting the health care industry. The candidate must also have knowledge of the Controlled Substances Act and Drug Enforcement Administration regulations. In addition to holding a license to practice law, the attorney should have a demonstrable interest in regulatory health law and possess at least one of the following: (1) a background in health care, including prior work experience in the industry; (2) an LLM in health care; (3) a masters in health administration; or (4) commensurate practical experience. The candidate must have a strong academic record paired with the skills, enthusiasm and commitment to become a partner at this firm.
