It is with deepest sadness that we recognize the passing of Will Thomas, long-time board member and treasurer for LAGBAC. For anyone who hasn’t had the good fortune to know Will, he was a true believer in our organization and responsible for providing LAGBAC with the foundation necessary to grow into the vibrant minority bar association that it is today. He was a passionate man, always caring for others more than himself. In addition to his role as treasurer, Will also served as a loyal member of our Judicial Evaluations Committee, and is recognized by the Alliance as one of its most influential and steadfast evaluators. We are lucky to have had Will with us while we did – our organization was better because of him, and our own community was a kinder and gentler one because of him.
