The National Immigration Justice Center (NIJC) will conduct a training for all attorneys interested in representing asylum seekers before the asylum office and the immigration court, hosted by Kircland & Ellis LLP and the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago (LAGBAC).
This training will cover the relevant law, practice, and procedure for all types of asylum claims, but will focus specifically on issues relevant to asylum claims based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
Illinois CLE credit will be available, but space is limited.
