Halsted) as we host an intimate dinner and conversation with Jim Bennett, Midwest Regional Director at Lambda Legal, the nation’s largest legal organization dedicated to securing the full civil rights of the LGBT community and those with HIV. In 2013, Mr. Bennett chaired “Illinois Unites for Marriage,” the statewide coalition that led the successful effort to win the freedom to marry in Illinois.
A graduate of the Second City Conservatory, Mr. Bennett also writes and performs sketch comedy and is an award-winning storyteller.
